By plane
The fastest and most comfortable way for international travellers is the connection from Frankfurt to Freiburg. It only takes two hours. Travellers from Europe might consider the Euro-Airport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg using Easy Jet and taking the bus shuttle (16 Euro) from the airport that leaves at the arrival level at the French side of the airport. The bus shuttle drops you at Freiburg central station. That is directly opposite to the conference center. Taxi transfer to Freiburg from the Euro-Airport is about 150 Euro.
Airport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (EuroAirport)
The nearest airport to Freiburg and only 60 km away. It accommodates international scheduled and charter flights. It can be reached from Freiburg direct by the Airport Bus or by bus and train, changing at Basle. You can reach the airport by car via the A5 Motorway in the direction of Basle then via the Motorway Junction Neuenburg via Ottmarsheim/Mulhouse on the A35 or shortly before the Motorway Customs Point via the Palmrheinbruecke, Huningue and St. Louis.
Zürich Airport
Approximately 150 km from Freiburg, the airport can be easily reached by train with a direct ICE connection from Freiburg Main Station to Zurich Main Station and then by regional train to the airport. You can also reach the airport by car via the A5 Motorway to Basle and then on the A3 to Zurich.
Stuttgart Airport
Approximately 200 km from Freiburg the airport is easily reached by train from the main station in Freiburg via Karlsruhe to Stuttgart Main Station. From there, you can travel by suburban train to the airport. You can reach the airport by car via the A5 and A8 Motorways.
Frankfurt Airport
Approximately 270 km from Freiburg but with an excellent direct ICE connection from Freiburg Main Station to Frankfurt Airport in about 2 hours and from there you have direct access to the terminal.
By train
Freiburg lies on the ICE / IC route Frankfurt – Karlsruhe – Freiburg – Basle and it is only a few steps from the Main Station in Freiburg to the Concert Hall.

By car
From the North and the South via the Rhine Valley Motorway. A5 Frankfurt-Basle, exit “Freiburg Stadtmitte”. From the motorway approach road „Mitte“ to the Freiburg Concert Hall is about 10 minutes drive, the route is signposted.
A81 Stuttgart-Singen or the B31 (Höllental), Donaueschingen, Titisee-Neustadt. Pass Freiburg on the Schwarzwaldstrasse, cross over into Schreiberstrasse, in the direction of the motorway approach road “Mitte”. The route to the Concert Hall is signposted.
There are connections to the French and the Swiss motorway networks.
950 parking spaces are available in the Concert Hall Building and the Station Garage.
